Funding the preservation of culturally and historically significant French architecture lies at the heart of our mission. Our local chapters organize events and initiatives to generate support for projects at home and abroad.
All FHS activities reflect a profound appreciation for the richness of French heritage and the role it has played in American thought, culture, imagination and architecture.
FHS supports a diversity of projects throughout France and the United States, often in collaboration with French and American partners, for example: the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris and George Washington’s Mount Vernon in Virginia.
FHS prides itself on being a family of likeminded souls from all generations. Our shared passion brings members together through our 11 chapters in the United States and France, not just to further our mission, but also to celebrate the French art de vivre.
